Our events are committed to providing a safe and inclusive environment for all members, regardless of gender, sexual orientation, disability, physical appearance, body size, race, ethnicity, religion, or any other characteristic. Harassment of any kind will not be tolerated. This includes but is not limited to offensive comments, intimidation, stalking, inappropriate physical contact, and unwelcome sexual attention. Participants who violate these rules may face sanctions, including expulsion from the community events without a refund at the discretion of the conference organisers.

Detailed Version

Harassment includes any conduct that creates an intimidating, hostile, or offensive environment. This encompasses offensive verbal comments, discriminatory language, sexual imagery, deliberate intimidation, stalking, following, disruption of events, inappropriate physical contact, and unwelcome sexual advances.

All members are expected to comply immediately if asked to stop any harassing behaviour. This expectation extends to sponsors, staff, and volunteers who are also subject to our anti-harassment policy.

If any participant engages in harassing behaviour, the community organisers will take appropriate action, which may include warnings or expulsion from the event without refund. We encourage anyone who experiences or witnesses harassment to report it to one of the organisers promptly.

Our community values the safety and well-being of all its members. Participants are expected to adhere to these rules at all community events and related social gatherings. By joining any She Bytes Back event, members agree to uphold these standards and contribute to creating a positive and inclusive community for everyone.
